On arrival (at about 11 o’clock in the morning) the guests are offered hot crackling or cheese scones and fruity brandy. After a short break the carriages start for a drive into the Pusta, which will be interrupted by visiting a traditional farm for wine tasting.

 

After the drive at about 12.30 the spectacular horse show begins called horse-herds show, which consists among others of laying, sitting of horses, cracking a whip, gallop with glasses competition of horse-herds, like the cloths dragging, stool occupation.

 

After the coach of four and two the most spectacular scene, the "Puszta Ötös" and the driving of the stud close the program. The saying Good-by of the participants marks the end of the show.

After the horse show at about 13.15 we await our guests for dinner, where they are entertained by Gypsy music during the meal.

 

 

Lunch and dinner menus

1.

  • Hungarian kettle goulash made on open fire

  • Mixed plat (chicken leg, breaded pork cutlet, fried knuckle of ham)

  • potato and rice

  • strudel filled with apple, curd, cherry

  • coffee

 

2.

  • ‘Kunpusztai legényfogó’ soup

  • ‘Kunsági’ breast of turkey ( filled with goose-liver, bacon, salad)

  • Pancake filled with marmalade or pudding

  • coffee

 

3. Buffet lunch or dinner

 

Soups:

  • ‘alföldi’ goulash soup

  • ‘kunsági’ ragout soup

Main dishes

  • stuffed cabbage with sour cream

  • home made fried sausages

  • spitted mushrooms filled with goose liver

  • breast of turkey filled with apricot

  • spitted mixed vegetables

Garnish:

  • parsley potato

  • spring rice with vegetables for vegetarians

Desserts:

  • strudel of aunt Rose

  • Gundel pancake

 

In case of ordering the buffet menu please inform us about the concrete number of the menu-portions.

 

During the meal guests are entertained by Gypsy music. During the meal guests are offered Szabadszállási Kékfrankos and Chardonnay wines, respectively mineral water.
